Collection Overview: Taken from the Extension Agent Annual Reports Collection of the Thurmont Center for Regional Agricultural History, this selection of sixty photographs provides a glimpse into the full collection of annual reports written and compiled by Frederick County Extension Service agents over many years. These reports give a wealth of information about rural life in Frederick County during the first half of the twentieth century. Included in this selection are pictures showing the activities of extension agents and demonstrators, of the region's 4-H clubs, and of several of the county's women's clubs.
